N2 ROAD EXPERIENCE
National 2 Road, or known as N2, is the longest road in Portugal and one of the only 3 in the world that crosses the whole country in it’s length Route 66 in the USA, and the Ruta 40 in Argentina. The N2 Challenge crosses Portugal from North to South, connecting Chaves (Trás-os Montes) to Faro (Algarve) along 738km in 5 days. We will start the challenge on the KMO mark in the center of Chaves and head south to finish the 5 days on the new landmark roundabout of KM738.

We will arrange the transfers to and from the airports - Porto (arrival) and Faro (departure).

The N2 Challenge is a trip composed by beautiful panoramic landscapes, and also a journey through Portugal’s immense historical heritage on it’s centuries old traditions, and its rich gastronomy and wine patrimony In this challenge you will cross the roads of the Douro Wine Valley, an unparalleled landscape classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; ride across the beautiful lowland of the center of Portugal; admire the cork trees of Alentejo and finish the N2 Challenge in the amazing Ria Formosa in Faro.

RENTAL BIKE
If you do not wish to bring your bike, we can arrange a rental bike for you. We work with a number of rental bike shops that will provide you with a bike that suits you.
SINGLE ROOM
If voud' like a whole room to yourself, that's no problem. For an extra cost for the trip duration, you can enjoy the comfort of your own room.
EXTRA NIGHT
To avoid unnecessary rush you can book an additional night (or as many as you wish) after the tour.
